Carers allowance will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. Your partner doesn't need to claim carers allowance to be entitled to carers element. They just need to report a change of circumstances and tell them they are caring for you for at least 35 hours per week. (providing your PIP includes the daily living part)
If they do claim carers allowance as well then need to be aware of the earnings limit, which is £132/week after deductions.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

We haven’t received any cares element in our uc payments an I did tell them in my journal when I had been awarded higher rate of pip they just said that it does not effect our uc 🤷‍♀️should we be receiving an element ?

Carers element is not automatically paid. Your partner needs to report a change of circumstances.
