    Permission to rant!

    Blue Badge renewals. I know that fraud is rife, but why, every 3 years, do they ask for the same details, and then add 20 more? Somewhere my data from 3 years ago must be available, and it clearly states that my disability is never going to get any better whatsoever. I wonder why a Blue Badge cannot be given for an indefinite period, just as my DLA is. Obviously I know it will change when I finally get "PIP'd".

    The only thing you can do with that is double check the label is for that product, j know its frustrating

    @Ada that is shocking service my chemist get stuff same day or next for delivery 

    @Siwheels73 I can never understand why bb don't last same length as pip award if that's reason for getting one . Mine was quite easy this time as said I was registered visually impaired so they check the register and was issued still only 3 years 

    @SueHeath if  shop advertise an item at wrong price they are not allowed to charge a higher price for that item for the whole trading day.  This is law so someone can't pay higher amount few hours after 

    There are huge fines per item sold and trading standards govern this

    Hope you all wake up well and your toe feels bit better after soaking it @Ada
    Of to see Father in Law today, hope we have a better visit then the rest of the family have had in the last month.
    He's been very sleepy and slurry speaking and now he's having trouble with swallowing, bless him, this dementia plus his age is no joy, but i can't praise the Home he's in enough, give the family a lot of peace of mind. x

    Good Morning, happy Friday. First week of January nearly completed.

    @Siwheels73 I do get what you mean with that one, my badge is up in 2024. I agree they should give long term badges. I think one of the reasons they do have an end date on is for the photo on it, but giving a 5-6 year one won’t make a huge difference to someone’s appearance and the great fee of £10 could be prolonged, my Christmas Bonus gone right there! :D

    I hate having my hair washed so I'm waiting for my support worker to do it for me on Monday or I might see if I can get in at the hairdressers tomorrow
