My son turning 18 who do I notify?

Good Afternoon
My son will be turning 18 soon. He is currently in full time education and I receive CTC & CB for him. My question is do I need to call anyone and notify them when he turns 18? I know I have to contact them when he leaves education but i am unsure if I need to update them on his age in the meantime. I know he remains a dependant until he finishes education.
I'm in receipt of HB, CTS, & ESA(IR) SG with enhanced disability premium I get so nervous talking on the phone and my anxiety is sky high worrying about this

As he’s still in full time non advanced education and you’re still claiming child benefit and tax credits for him then you don’t need to do anything.1

Ok thank you so much. I knew it was ok for ctc and cb but I was unsure about my hb, cts and esa so thank you for the reassurance and putting my mind at ease0

It's possible they may ask for proof that they are in full time education but they should already know this because of child beneft/tax credits.

Hello,
I joined to reply here, please phone ESA and inform them that your son is turning 18, I have just received a letter yesterday informing me they have over payed me as I didn't inform them that my daughter turned 18, I was like yourself I claimed ESA ir, Hb Cb CtC and although CTC and CB knew she was in full time education I'm going to have to appeal now with ESA, it's worth just covering your back.
All the best and good luck

(If they are still in education your son will not affect SDP until he leaves education.)

Thank you for the information but I dont recieve sdp. My esa only includes the enhanced disability premium. So is that ok? Or does my son turning 18 affect my esa?0

Your son reaching 18 years will not affect your ESA.
