Just bumping this to see if anyone else wants to share.
My sushi was very nice and I still have some rice wine left so I am hoping to buy some more sushi this week.

Otherwise, I ordered some vitamin C face products from the Body Shop to try and get a glow back!2 -

just bought a second hand laptop, very clunky compared to my touchscreen tablet. I suppose I'll get used to it. no autocorrect though so expect mistakes now, sorry in advance!1

I put myself on a book buying ban and have brought 14 books this month.
Then I definitely didn't buy more during my break today... 👀 *whistles*

Bought myself a couple of 'large' pieces of signed memorabilia this month (one picture and one football shirt). Been waiting a good few months until I could find these items at a price I was willing to pay! The profits from one item went to charity, so I feel I've done some good there as well as getting something I wanted.

I think you should meet my daughter sometimeHannah_Scope said:I put myself on a book buying ban and have brought 14 books this month.
she's book mad but the only problem is that she forgets where on earth we are supposed to keep them. She needs that book ban.

I was a Black Sabbath fan back in the day. Geezer was just fab as a bass player. Went to see them a few times.66Mustang said:Thanks everyone for sharing.
@leeCal that all makes sense! Thanks a lot for the info. Maybe not in the same league but I also thought Geezer Butler (I think that's his name!) from Black Sabbath was pretty good as a bass player. He didn't just support the guitar he did his own thing.1 -
How many of the 14 books have you read so far @Ha@Hannah_Scope ?Hannah_Scope said:I put myself on a book buying ban and have brought 14 books this month.

I'm a big book fan too. Although these days they are all ebooks for my Kobo ereader. I have too many physical books so no room to buy anymore of those.
My son did buy me a lovely Folio Society book for my birthday - it is Frank Herbert's novel Dune with some beautiful artwork in it.1 -
Just ordered myself 3 pairs of earrings building up my collection can change them next week after having them pierced 6 weeks3

Haha! I'm very much the same, my loft is now practically a library! If she is ever in the Hemel Hempstead area, tell her to check out 66books. There are lots of videos about it on TikTok. It's currently on my bucket list to do! She'll definitely need more roompoppy123456 said:

They have only just arrived in drips and drabs the last week and a bit but I will pick up one of them as I'm just about to finish (re-reading) Pride & Prejudice. I also have Richard E Grant's book from Christmas to read! I'm thinking to write the titles and put in a jar to pick at randomShirleyW said:

I tried to read books on my tablet and always ended up window shopping or worse, actually shopping! lol1 -
@Hannah_Scope I can't do any window shopping on my ereader. It's purely just for reading. I even turn off the WiFi on it unless I am downloading a new ebook.
Ereaders like Kindles and Kobos are much easier to read than tablets. The screen and words appear very much like a printed book and are more restful to your eyes than tablets and mobiles.
The main reason I changed to an ereader was because of my arthritis, I find books too heavy to hold. I can rest the ereader on a special cushion so I don't need to hold it at all.0 -
@shirleyW Ooo, I thought I had an amazon kindle but I could still shop on that, maybe I had the tablet?
I'm so glad you are able to still enjoy the love of reading without it hurting your arthritis
