Received letter from PIP

Good morning today I received a letter from DWP stating that they have received all the necessary information they needed to make a decision as soon as they have made a decision and decide to reward me PIP they’ll get back at me ,question is this has been way too many weeks since they received my report I haven’t had any text messages of any sort ,is this normal have others have had any experience with letters rather then messages and how quickly did you get your reward after this sorta letter ?

It can take up to 12 weeks to get a decision after the assessment report is received by DWP.
The text indicates that they have received the report.0 -
They don't always send texts even if you provided them with a mobile number. Of course if you didn't give a mobile number they can't text you. The texts would only say exactly the same as the letters anyway.
