I have been awarded PIP after a tribunal.i am wondering when my first payment will be. My decision letter does not mention a start date for my payment.I rang PIP today and they said it would be 6 weeks until I got any money!is this right? and also how do I find out my payment date?

Can take around 8 weeks before DWP process the outcome. They will not know your payment date yet. When it is sorted you will get an arrears payment back to when the claim started and then there will four weekly payments.the gap between the arrears payment and the regular payment may not be four weeks,0

Was that the decision letter from the Tribunal? If so then they don't mention any money that's owed because it's DWP that pay the money and not HMCTS.Pebblesmaria said:My decision letter does not mention a start date for my payment

When DWP write to you it will explain your new award, backdated amounts owed and future payments too. All you can do is wait.0

Your award hasn't been put into payment yet, once it has you will know all the information.
