It can be a good saving if you use the train. Even on one long journey, it can be good.
I got a 3 year one for my son and we took a train from edinburgh to london return. What we saved on that journey alone paid for the card.1 -
I have one. £54 for 3 years, just reminded me that it needs renewing in August

I go to London 2 times a year and I save on average £100 and when it pays for itself like that it’d be stupid not to.0
