@Hannah_Scope Your Gwen is a truly lovely looking companion. You must love her to death.
@Starlingbird I do feel blessed for the time I spent with my animals. Also, the picture of you hand feeding a squirrel is amazing. We had a squirrel called Bobby. We lived on the ground floor and had 3 trees in our garden. My partner Ian was soppier than me about animals, and he would buy monkey nuts from Sainsbury's. Bobby would come into our flat and eat them.
@katz23 Taking my rabbit to school was very important to me. He was a white Albino, hence his name Pinky. He had the most beautiful pink eyes. You just had to love him. The school I went to (Swaffield Hill) in Wandworth was the best. They had caged animals like hamsters and gerbils and I could take them home during weekends and school holidays. The school didn't object to me taking Pinky to school. I was a bit like Danny in Somewhere Boy. I was a bit strange and weird, just like Danny, but like Danny the weirdness and strangeness was inflicted upon me by outside influences. I grew up and sort of became normal.
@Teddybear12 I did talk to my gold fish, but my partner accidentally murdered them! He put some sort of cleaning fluid in their tank, and they all died and floated to the top of the water! Needless to say I cried my eyes out, but I got over it!
All of your dogs and cats look wonderful. Animals are wondrous in the way they understand us.
I have attached 2 piccies. One of me and my dog Fluff, who was a rescue dog and about to be drowned. I couldn't let that happen so I gave her a home. It was the best thing I ever did.
The second piccie is of me and Fluff when Fluff was older, and my Yorkie Tina who was also a rescue.4 -

@Steve_in_The_City Bobby the squirrel sounds like he was a little star! They can be so cheeky. My friend used to have one that would visit his garden and would tap on the patio doors when he wanted some peanuts😅😅0

This young man (10 months old in the picture) was the father of the GSD that I posted).Lovely to hear that your boy shared your pillow -pets sometimes being better company than humans! 🤣0 -
