Telephone help Scope

I'm urgent need to get advice about a PIP refusal I got recently, is there any telephone number I can call to talk to Scope, I have about 8 days to reply to PIP MR, sorry not much time but I received my letter late. Thanks

    Although you are expected to request an MR within a month you actually have 13 months in which to do it. You will simply need to give a reason for being late - post came late is good enough. In the unlikely event that DWP reject to accept the MR because it is late you can appeal straight to tribunal service.

    @Cher_Scope, Hi sorry for the late reply, yes I rang the help line they was very helpful. Right now I am so worn out with this Fibromyalgia and Trigeminal Neuralgia I'm suffering with along with long term depression and anxiety but was rejected for my PIP claim, I have asked for them for a MR, but not holding any hopes of getting it.  :(

    @Palmtree125 Oh dear, that sounds hard. I'm sorry things are tiring for you right now. Are you getting support to help you manage your conditions?

    And, please don't lose faith if your MR is unsuccessful, there are other avenues of appeal that you can pursue that tend to have higher success rates. Do you have any support with your PIP claim from a welfare representative? If not, and it's something you'd like to look into in the future, then please visit the Advice Local website (enter your postcode and select Welfare benefits from the drop down list, and organisations are at the bottom of the next screen).
