I am on esa and get reduced esa, due to getting a pension. Will l still get esa when l marry

    You haven’t given enough of information for anyone to be able to advise you. 
    Are you currently living with your partner?

    Hi, and thank you for putting my question in the esa forum. I get a pension and due to this l get £106 per week. I have been told that l contribute towards my esa. My partner is my carer as l struggle with day to day activities, this is unpaid, as she also keeps down a full time job. We have now decided to get married and l was wondering if my esa stops.

    If you are already living together you are already a couple. Getting married makes no difference.
