Hi, I am having a telephone meeting with the Jobcentre next week. I have been on ESA for 7 years ( depression and severe anxiety ) and haven't had any contact with them for the last 4 or so. I am really nervous and worried about this... what will happen in the call? Any advice and help would be appreciated.

Are you in the Support Group? if so and this is a work focused interview then you do not need to attend and it's completely optional.

Then it's a work focused interview. They will likely ask what you're doing to prepare to work in the future. They are correct and you do need to make sure you answer the call otherwise you could be sanctioned. There's some information here about WFI https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/employment-and-support-allowance/esa-glossary/work-focused-interview
