Our old dog @Sandy_123,she was called Meg and she was wonderful.
The one we have now is doing my nut in.0 -
Pets are all different , my last cat in my pic was very needy, because he'd been bought up with an elderly lady, he use to stand at top of the stairs at 8 wanting us to go to bed lol0

Meg would sometimes go to bed at 5 o'clock.
Needless to say we left her to it.0 -
Hi @katz23 😊 He is doing great, thank you for asking! I have been slowly introducing him to my cats and we had a break-through moment the other day where we were all in the same room watching TV 😃 I spent some time on Thursday sewing up and mending a blanket he had ripped when he first arrived (I thought he was over the shredding stage!), only to have him tear it to shreds this morning when I went to the bathroom!katz23 said:@Starlingbird How is your new boy doing?0 -

She loves having her belly rubbed and will lay there for ages and she is also the only cat I have ever met who loves having her paws rubbed!

Thats brilliant news that he is doing well and that you have managed to have all your pet bestie's
relaxed in the same room to watch TV 😊
The blanket stuff - it could be that your scent was all over it following your repairs.My boy that I lost last year, if I put clothes in the washing machine and didn’t shut the door and turn it straight away I would find MY clothes nibbled up on the floor lol.
I often found him cuddling a bra lol.1 -

Yes it is amazing, she is like an emotional support animal to me! I am assuming you have a pet? If so, what type of animal are they?
I am extremely lucky to have her and I love her very much, she is one of the most important things in my life. 2 -

@Starlingbird I had to laugh at the description of your beloved shep snoring with his head on your pillow! Decades ago a TV or Radio vet said that dogs don't snore. The radio/tv station was inundated with messages saying oh yes they do! My shep Cleo was far too big to have on the bed (she would have crushed me). In any event she was a peripheral dog and slept in the hallway between my bedroom and my partners bedroom, so she could guard the pack. She didn't like strangers coming in to the flat, but accepted it, and away from the flat she was the most perfectly socialised dog you would ever meet. Kids loved her. Unfortunately when my partner was away on holiday she would become overly possessive of me. I couldn't let anyone in the flat and I couldn't take her to the pub. When I took her for "walkies" I had to keep her on the lead at all times.

@Steve_in_The_City only someone who has never had a dog could suggest that they don't snore! I'd sometimes get woken in the night from the sound of my shep snoring at the far end of the bedroom....he sounded like a running motor! 😅2
