Humanity has been 'modified', we started out as herbivores and have become carnivores, now some have chosen to become herbivores.0

I'm a wholefood freak. I can't even look at the things from McD's, KFC, etc, without feeling sickly...that beige stuff isn't food! Lol!0

Escargot! There is a Mr. Bean movie and he is in a restaurant in Paris. He orders escargot, I think. It is a long time ago and I can't rightly remember. But he doesn't like the escargot, if that's what it was, and he puts them in a napkin and deposits them in a ladies handbag. That is my recollection of the movie and it may be wrong.
Years before that movie came out I had my own Mr. Bean escargot experience in a restaurant in Cardiff. I was only young and didn't know how to conduct myself in good restaurants. I love trying new food so ordered the escargot. I hated them, but didn't know how to send them back. I managed to wrap them in an hanky, took them to the loo and put them in a bin. I thought that's a good job done, that's the end of the escargot.
It all came to nothing when the waiter came to collect the plates. He wanted to know where the shells were. So trying to sound innocent I said what shells? He said the shells the escargot were in. I thought to myself front it boy, and I said I ate them. So the waiter asked quizzically "you ate them"? There was a pause and then my partner, who loved to wind me up and could keep a completely straight face, said were they extra crisp and crunchy, just how you like them?
I realised I had been sussed so I made a full confession telling the waiter I didn't want to make a fuss by sending them back. My partner and the waiter could hardly keep a straight face.
To this day I can't stand the thought of escargot and never ordered them since.

I don't like things that have bits or mixes textures. I don't like anything that can change. Take bread, as long as you stick to a brand and a type it's always the same. Same for biscuits or plain pasta or rice or cheese.
