Blue Badges and invisible impairment changes

This is an old thread with the last comment being from 2021. As you can't know the full circumstances, I wonder why you are mentioning older people, & if the passenger has a Blue Badge (whatever their age), then surely it's OK for the driver to remain in a disabled bay as the passenger may not even be away from the car for long.

I appreciate your frustration, but it would seem that as the Blue Badge is for the use of a disabled driver or passenger, they are actually using it for the intended person, so I can't see how this is an abuse of the system.
