Lots of people will have received money owed from UC in the past. I see from a previous thread here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/101819/lcwra-awarded#latest that your first payment would have been 13th Jan.Did you receive the LCWRA element for this month? I'm guessing no because it may have been too late to add it to your statement for this month. It's not unusal for it to take quite a few weeks to pay what they owe. I will add that they don't always get the waiting period correct.

I don't understand what you mean by this in bold..Tina12 said:it said the first one was on the 4th of August but I didn't well universal credit been accepting until the 28th of September last year
In a previous thread (link above) you said you sent your first fit note on 13th August 2022.

Sorry @poppy123456
Message came out abit wrong.. what I meant is Iam waiting on LCWRA BACK PAY.. But I am still wondering if I am entitled to that as my first fit note was dated September 28th when I look back on their system
So am I entitled to back pay still for LCWRA?ย0 -
Thank you fore confirming that. This means that it will affect when the LCWRA element is paid from. They don't usually accept a backdated fit note. If they don't then your waiting period will be Oct/Nov, Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 7th Jan to 6th Feb and first payment will be 13th Feb, therefore they owe you 1 month. (if you didn't receive it last month)

Hi @poppy123456
Good morning
Just an update on the back pay as I still haven't received it and today was my payday.. so will it mean they owe me 2 months now instead of one ?ย
Thankyou in advanceย0 -
The LCWRA element should have been included in this months statement. Put a message on your journal and tell them that you didn't have the LCWRA element added to your statement this month and it should have been.Yes, they owe you for this month and last month.1
