I have noticed on my universal credit statement today that my carers allowance has not been deducted , and I'm being payed a full amount this month , it's due tomorrow, should I he concerned? Is it an overpayment? I have not reported any changes ..

You will need to put a message on your journal and tell them. Yes, you will have an overpayment because it should be deducted in full.0

Can I just make sure that your UC includes the carers element?0
-
Yes it does include carers element , I was just confused as to why they didn't do any deductions , never had an issue before0

This does sound confusing @jamie80, especially as you have never had an issue before
Would anything, in particular, help to make this more manageable and less confusing for you at the moment?0 -
I'm still none the wiser as to why they did not do any deductions , they've not Evan replied yet or had and any letter from them0

I can hear how knowing more about this is really important to you at the moment @jamie80. Do you feel able to ask them for a more detailed breakdown or some answers?0
