Hi All
i was looking for some advice. My consultant provided me with a letter for pip review.
I don’t think It helps my case at all do I have to use it, I have lupus anxiety and depression
raynaulds and sojohrens disease. I struggle every day with pain and fatigue and it says my lupus is not active which to me sounds as if I am fine
any advice
thanks so much

You don't have to send the letter as evidence.

You don't need a doctor's letter, all you need is anecdotal evidence of how your condition affects you against the descriptors, family and friends can give you examples of the difficulties you have. Have you sent back the PIP review form yet? Or have you done that and are awaiting a review. If you've yet to complete the form give multiple examples of what happens when you attempt each relevent descriptor. Good luck.Wilfiewoo21 said:Hi All

Thank you for your reply
I havent filled in form for my review yet.
i have an Advocate from social security scotland to help me with it.
i was just worried they may contact my consultant and he says he provided a letter and i havent included it
im so anxious about it all.
Thanks0 -
It sounds really positive that you have an advocate from social security Scotland to help you with it @Wilfiewoo21.
I suppose if you are asked to include things you have not included, you could always say you did not know you needed to include it and have another chance to include it if necessary.
I hope this is at least semi-helpful. Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can do to support you
