Another pip tribunal Q

Hi all

i have finally received a date for my tribunal now the nerves are starting

i just have a quick question, do the tribunal read my medical records before or at the hearing ? I have received an email regarding my medical records and my psychologist has made notes which I am wondering if they will read ?

    They will read everything before the hearing takes place.

    what about my medical records (psychology reports) I haven’t sent them

    Any extra evidence you have must be sent to HMCTS to arrive at least 10 days before the hearing date. If you don't send them then they can't take them into consideration.

    Thanks poppy, the reason I ask this question is I want to ask my psychologist if she will write me a letter I can send to tribunal as evidence, but everything I discuss with her is noted (as I’ve just received my SAR) so don’t want the tribunal seeing that I have asked her to write me a letter as to me it comes across as I’m manipulating the situation

    I can't imagine why they would think that. Lots of people ask medical professionals to write a letter of support. However, you need to ask yourself is that letter needed? What evidence have you already sent? Multiple pieces of medical evidence all saying the same thing isn't helpful. Less is often more!

    Although I have received the date by post, my online tracker has not updated to hearing booked that is still at DWP response. Even the reference number on the letter is different to the reference I had when lodged the appeal and the address where to send evidence is different 

    this is making me nervous
