Hi @UrbanPigeon - & welcome to the community from me also. PIP is not about any diagnoses rather how your disability is affected attempting/doing some activities of daily living &/mobilising. Reading about these activities/descriptors is a good place to begin: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/personal-independence-payment-descriptors-and-scores-april-2022.pdf

Hello and welcome @Urbanpigeon - what a great username! I hope you're keeping well.
We have lots of information around PIP, in our PIP, DLA and AA category and feel free to start a conversation in there should you be particularly confused about any element of it.
Wishing you a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Take care.3 -

Hello Chiarieds and Thank You for welcoming me and your advice. Unfortunately I have had some experience with PIP before which did not turn out so well, so I do know the basics of the form filling. I am just spending time on the forum to pick up some helpful hints and tips to prevent any further mistakes. The unfortunate experiences I had to go through while making the previous claim has left me anxious about claiming again but sadly I dont seem to have much choice but to claim PIP. Thank you for your kind help.chiarieds said:Hi @UrbanPigeon - & welcome to the community from me also.
