Hi I was just wondering how do I understand the daily living component and the mobility component. Would you get mobility if you don't drive or is it something for drivers? Can you get both mobility and daily living together? Haven't been told much about it and not sure I will even be awarded anyway id just like to understand it thanks

    You're ability to drive isn't considered in any of the descriptors. Daily living is for activities such as preparing food, washing/bathing, toilet, budgeting, engaging with others face to face etc etc.

    Mobility there's 2 parts, following and planning a journey which is for those with mental health and cognitive and sensory impairments. Moving around is for those with physical conditions.

    You can be awarded either part or both parts.     hi yes you can get both and you dont need to drive to get the mobility part its how your mobility effects you ie i am registered partially sighted since my strokes so i need help getting around be that taxi busses
