I have a face to face pip assessment on 24.2.23 but I suffer from depression and severe anxiety,can I change this to a phone assessment

    24/2/23? i think that's a typo because we are already in April. Either way, you can ring the number on the letter to ask.

    Hello there @Harts46 and welcome :) As Poppy has advised, you can call the PIP enquiry line to request a telephone assessment. 

    Can I check what date it is? If you need any support in the meantime, please ask, and we'll do what we can to support you. PIP can be a stressful process, and you're not alone here.

     Not the PIP helpline because they have nothing to do with the assessment. It will be the assessment providers they will need to ring. 
    When I mentioned the letter, that would be the assessment letter which will be from the assessment providers and not DWP.

    It will be either IAS or Capita PIP who do the assessments, that you need to contact, geographically there cover different parts of the country.
