When can I expect first LCWRA payment

Hi,
I'm a bit confused as to how the LCWRA payment is paid and worked out and when I should get my first payment , so I'm hoping someone can help.

I gave in fit notes for three months from 13th January 2023 and was asked to do a work capability assessment which was done over the phone.

On the 30th March I got a letter in my journal saying that I had been awarded LCWRA.

I know there's a three month period where the element doesn't apply.

My UC assessment period is from the 17th to the 16th of the month and I get paid on the 23rd of each month.

My next assessment period is from 17th April to 16th May 2023 so will my payment on the 23rd May have the additional LCWRA element or will it be the next assessment period from May to June?

    Your waiting period will be Jan to April ... LCWRA starts from AP 17th April to 16th May and first payment will be 23rd May. You'll need to check your statement when you receive it to make sure it's included because they don't always get the waiting period correct.

    You're welcome. Your UC payment this month will also include the full 10.1% increase.
