Pip car road tax help

Hello I get the high rate of the mobility part I took in the certificate of exemption and V5c logbook for full road tax paid by them to dvla but I spoke to someone online from dvla gov site and they saying they need it to be posted to them too? Is this correct ? I don’t know why when I took it in post office alredi ???

I took my logbook V5c and my pip exemption certificate with serial number on it and dates stating how long the award is for but they took one part out of it and gave me the exemption certificate back with a stamp on it but I spoke to someone on gov site and they said this
