I live near Plymouth and have a reclining manual wheelchair that I do not need as I purchased it thinking it was suitable for me. It was reconditioned just prior to me buying it.
I would like it to go to a good home and be used, rather than collect dust. It is a Handicare Emineo wheelchair and has an adjustable head rest, elevating leg rest, and a pram like handle with attendant operated breaks. It is not suitable for somebody who pushes themselves as the wheels are too small for that kind of use.
If anybody would like it, and is able to collect it, please contact me via Facebook or e-mail:

PS. If a scope establishment would like this wheelchair for a pupil or service user, I would be really happy.

Hello Sarah
That's a really kind thought, thank you. You could try contacting the Scope services closest to you, to see if they would be able to use the chair. We have two services in the area, and you can read more about them and find contact details at http://www.scope.org.uk/nearestyou/services/Devon/-/all.
It's best if you contact them yourself as you can describe the chair and get an instant answer.
Kind regards
