I reported health change on 1st January and reported my first sick note 10th February, I had my assessment on 3rd may am awaiting my outcome. If I was to be awarded when would my first payment be and would I be due any back pay? My assessment period is 29th till the 28th

There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time, if found to have LCWRA. It's then paid from the 4th month after you reported your health conditon, providing you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send them without any gaps until a decision is made on your work capability assessment. As you didn't send your first fit note until 10th Feb then your waiting period will be Feb to May.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 29th May to 28th June and first payment will be July. You won't be owed any LCWRA element.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
