Hello, 

please forgive me in advance if I’m asking a question that’s already been answered. I sent my forms off in January for the UC element. I had my assessment yesterday an have heard from them today I have been awarded LCWRA. What I don’t understand is the 3 waiting period, is that from today (when the decision was made) or is it from January (when I sent my forms back in) again apologies if my question is repetitive.

    Also I have had fit notes all the way through 3 month ones since October last year

    The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. Providing you continued to send fit notes the whole time without any gaps.

    The extra money for you will be from either Feb or March 2023. The exact date will depend on what date you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.

    Hi @poppy123456 thanks for your reply, forgive me for sounding daft, is mine 3 months from now or have I passed that? Sorry for not understanding your answer properly 😣

    It's 3 full assessment periods from when you first reported your health conditon/sent your first fit note. As i advised here.

    Hello @Lurizle and a warm welcome to the community.
    As @poppy123456 mentioned, you're already past the 3 months so you should be owed LCWRA from either February or March.

    UC should upload another decision letter soon discussing any backdated money they owe you.
