Hi, I got a letter via my UC journal on the 17th May that i have been awarded LCWRA, I had my assesed by phone on the 15may, Im really confused about when my first payments will be.
My UC is paid on the 27th, My assesment periods are from the 21st to the 20th,
I gave my first fit note on the 19 January without any breaks.

Your waiting period will be Jan to April.. LCWRA starts from AP 21st April to 20th May and first payment will be 27th May. No LCWRA element is owed.There may not be enough of time to include the LCWRA element on your statement for this month but you'll need to check it. If it's not included they will owe you for this month, which will be paid as a separate payment.1

Ive just checked my payments and the LCWRA has been included for the 27th May.Does this means now ill be upto date and there is no backdated payments?

There will not be anything owed unless you and/or a partner were working and didn't previously have the work allowance.
