Best time to call DWP

Hi all,

I recently applied and had my assessment and want to request my report however getting hold of DWP is a nightmare. Does anyone have any ideas as to when the best time to call DWP is from experience?

    Usually as soon as they open at 9am. There's been a lot of threads in the past few months with members saying exactly the same.

    Hello @chloelf97

    Welcome to the community! :) We have had many people express issues over getting through to the DWP. The best advice being given is to call at 9am on the dot and you have a better chance of getting through.

    Thank you @poppy123456 and @Hannah_Scope! I will try tomorrow. This whole process is frustrating and hard but not being able to get through makes it 100% worst

    @Alex_Scope yes I did thanks. called at 9 and got straight through. I requested my report even though they tried to
    Talk me out of it

    Ah that's good @chloelf97 I'm glad you got through. Remember the report is only a recommendation to the decision maker, who will also be looking at your form, and any other evidence you've sent in :)
