I've been awarded pip after review but not backpay

Hello guys I've been awarded pip after my review at the same amount for 5 years till 2028 but I haven't received any back pay whatsoever can someone just clarify if I should recive some backpay or not thanks

If your PIP has been increased following a review started by DWP then the increase normally only starts from the date DWP make the decision.0

If your award is exactly the same as you previously had what money exactly do you think you're owed? Assuming your award continued while a decision was made on the review so there's nothing to owe you.
