Hi if your condition improves before a decision is made when claiming pip for the 1st time do you get the amount of money when your condition was worse before your condition improved

For PIP you must have experienced the changes for at least 3 months. Are you also aware that sometimes having some improvement to your health conditions may not affect the amount you're entitled to. It's perfectly normal to have some better days. What counts for PIP is how your conditions affect you on the majority of days over a 12 month period.
