New pip claim

Hi everyone, it’s my first time writing on here so I hope I’m writing in the correct place?!

I made a new claim for pip a few months ago, I had my phone assessment just over 2 weeks ago and today I received a text saying “we have not yet made a decision on your pip claim” .. after reading through hundreds of posts on here, I can see this is just a generic text but has anyone received the same text and then gone on to not be awarded?

    There's many members that have been awarded and refused after this text. The text means nothing more than it states.

    How long have you been waiting from application to assessment?

    @faraway_21 I phoned up to ask for the forms on the 28th march, I received the forms filled them in and sent them back and they received them on the 27th April, I had my phone assessment on the 16th June and I received a text this morning (3rd July) saying they haven’t made a decision yet.

    Try not to worry too much, like you said, it is a generic text. Hopefully you'll hear soon!

    @Jodilb92 I have a similar timeline to you although I skipped the 'we haven't made a decision yet' text and got the 'we have awarded you PIP' text this morning. 
    Fingers crossed you get a decision soon
