What did you want to be when you grew up?

@michael57 I wonder what that would be in today's money! also 65 hours a week! I couldn't have done that at 13! Power to you.
@sandy123 What kind of tea set did you have? and if you had a café now, what would you call it?
@JessieJ Maybe they have moved elsewhere? If you could do archeology now, where in the world would you want to study? I think Italy would be so interesting!0 -
It was one of those colourful plastic ones, used to pretend to make everyone a cuppa and food. I bought my granddaughter a barbie coffee shop for Xmas, a big improvement from my day.
I have no idea about names lol0 -
Aww I love it when you can share things you loved with the younger generations

When you think of one (or a few) you'll have to open it up virtually on the community

@michael57 It makes you wonder though, with the currency change in the UK. You should!
I think we forget how much processes change. 0 -
A very boring answer, Hannah, have always loved Egypt & Egyptology, that's where I would have loved to have gone. There, I wouldn't have minded pushing a wheelbarrow.Hannah_Scope said:

when i was a little kid i wanted to be a mad scientist, as those guys made the monsters on the big screen, as i got older i realised the monsters were not real but someone created them through special effects, i was an artist and worked on film and tv until my illness stopped me, now its a hobby i still make monster busts and masks but only occasionally, some great examples in this thread0

I wanted to be an air hostess lol 😆.0

Have you changed your mind about this plan now then @Strawberry1?
I wanted to be a nursery assistant. Whilst I am working in education, and indeed with 'assistant' in my title, I could not be working at a completely different side of that scale (in a university!)

@Strawberry1 What made you want to be an air hostess? I think it'd be a great way to see the world!

@L_Volunteer Was there a specific age range in the nursey you'd want to work with?

Awww, this is super lovely of you @Strawberry1 - thank you so much. We all need to look up to you too, don't we, with your kindness?! What makes you not want to be an air hostess anymore?
