Hi. I haven't received my esa payment today. I have recently been awarded pip. I phoned benefits and they said I will receive a payment on 1st August. That can't be right. Can it ?.

If your ESA was due today then they should have made a fast payment to you so that you'll receive it today and not 1st August. Was it ESA you rang?The reason it most likely wasn't paid is because of the new PIP award, which does often suspend another benefit but only because the computer system would have flagged a change.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
