Pip review

Hi everyone my pip is due to end in about 6 months. Just wondering what the review process is like I’m already starting to stress. How likely is it that it will be face to face or will it be more likely to be paper based or phone call.

    Reviews have a shorter form but you will still need to make sure you treat it as a new claim. Most people have assessments which are mostly by telephone, some are face to face or video.

    Hi,
    Just wondering what evidence do you have to provide with the review. Am assuming its the same as the new claim. Can you also provide a diary? I am stressing too :(

    You need to treat it as a new claim and send all relevant evidence to support your claim. The form is shorter but don't be fooled by that and do not just write "no change" even if there is no change.

    Yes, you can write a diary if you want to. However, it's much better to include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.

    Hi everyone,I’m going for my pip assenment tomorrow,I’m terrified.I’m on standard rate pip at minute for lumber scoliosis of lower back & scoliosis of top part of my spine.also got disc damage to my neck as well.but also recently been diagnosed as stage 4 oa of knees I can’t hardly walk now,irs really affected my mobility now.please can someone give me some advice I’m terrified for tomorrow.

    Did they not give the option of telephone assessment :(

    I thought reviews were telephone or video. Are you on any immunosuppressants?

    Sorry Poppy instead of writing up my review form with my hands being bad. Can type up via my voice assisted software . Otherwise i will have to get assistance in writing up. Its like doing a dissertation!

    2 days ago I had my assessment, I have 3 herniated discs causing everthink under the sun and also have fibromyalgia . 2 days later I get my claim awarded . Got a msg to confirm and that the letter is in the post . Just wondered if that's pretty normal 2 days ? Lol it said upto 8 weeks

    That's exceptionally quick! Beats my quick timescale of 3 days way back in 2016 for a review decision after an assessment.

    The text is normal and correct. Nothing to worry about, as i advised on your other thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/108662/pip-assessment#latest how severe your conditions are and having a decision quickly is irrelevant. It just means there were no backlogs and your decision was made quickly.
