Starting work
Hi there,
I’m currently waiting for scope to get in touch with me and help me with work, I have an appointment confirmed.
I’m currently waiting for scope to get in touch with me and help me with work, I have an appointment confirmed.
I’ve come across a job that seems ideal with a good wage. I’m currently waiting for my pip and UC renewal to be decided. I’ve read on here that I may be able to get taxis to and from work but this workplace is 32 miles from my house.
To cut a long story short, I’d appreciate advice on what I should do. Would the help to work scheme help me out? Would it be a good idea to apply for it.
Thank you

32 miles each way is quite a distance. It would be Access to Work you will need to apply for, you can do that here. https://www.gov.uk/access-to-work/apply

Hello @bluefate
I hope your appointment with Employment Services goes well!
I see Poppy has popped the link for Access to Work. Please keep us updated on the outcome of the job! Will keep everything crossed
