I love that we are getting closer to Autumn. I've started to see autumnal and Halloween bits everywhere!
But, it is still the summer, and I hope we get nice weather!
How are you thinking to spend it?
I'm hoping to get some more afternoons and evenings reading in my hammock 😊

I am still waiting for summer, we have only had a couple of days of 30º+ weather so far.1

I think we will get another few days when September rolls in, the kids are back at School and all the summer activities are over.1

Could well be true........
We haven't had many barbecues yet this year so to answer the original question I am going to say I hope we have a couple during August, I know many think it is overrated but I love the taste of barbecued food!1 -
Hope you do! I like barbecue food too. The only time I feel I can get a decent hotdog1

The only time I feel I can get a decent hotdogthis will sound super silly but have you ever looked at the american imports section in a big tescos? theres a fairly expensive jar of tall hot dogs that do actualy taste alright, decent even,i cant remember there exact name but i think it might have brooklin in the title.i havent done anything for a while due to the trouble with where i live but, august is making me plan a new DJ mix for my mixcloud page, i pay for my mixcloud, serato pro software and the beatport link pro music database and i use both my DJing laptop and a pioneer REV-1 controler to produce the mix.due to my damaged memory i plan my mixes out first track by track.if anyone at all wants a favurite electronic tune in- please fire way and ask.2

Ooo will check that out @CATP thank you!
Sounds like it will be fun with the DJ Mix! Have you got a theme in mind? Like would it be a summer anthem or something you'd think would be great to play in the car?
@Sandy_123 It is! I kind of love it

I'm the bringer of good news, but I bring bad news, it's going to rain until at least the 8th August, them we've got a fairly dry spell until the 14th August, them I believe we might get some much warmer weather. So my suggestion is make ice on the 15th August.2

@Sandy_123 It is! I kind of love ithave you ever had an interest in mixing? if so,i can recomend a completly free software called virtualDJ - its used by a lot of pros i know-theyve complely modded the software, but is great for beginers.i play house of all different sub genres,so i do themes with each of my mixes.this is my last mix that i made:
it was during that verrrrrrrry hot heat wave, it inspired me to do a jackin / funky / afro house mix.ive self taught in producing music in studio programs my wholr life but i gave up after i bougth a studio software- FL2021 and i found out you have to buy small packs of instruments for around £15/£30,to make a decent dance track.in terms of summer tunes,i totaly recomend getting a listen (if you can,its not even on youtube yet i dont think) to alex wanns 'milkshake' (amazing progrsive house tune, played by pete tong a lot,i think he had the first copy,it might be a white label as ive not seen it on beatport yet), 'sweat' by ESSEL (even though hes disapeared off beatports number 10 chartt), and fischers 'take it off'.

My Plan....get my A** in the gym as much as possible albeit being disabled. Want/need to build lean muscle/stamina etc. Hopefully going today if i get a lift.0
-
@kalps I hope you do well with the gym! Please keep us updated on your progress
We actually have a thread on weight loss / healthy eating and exercise started by @66Mustang that has been so lovely to read. Lots of support

Thx Hannah. I have some severe muscoskeletal injuries/issues hence I'm disabled (as I keep barking on about!!)... but I want to toughen up with caution.1
-
I would advise asking your GP or consultant for additional advice. They may have some documents they can send for you to read through0

I know. Thx hannah. I think what I need is a greedy GF that'll push me to eat more!!! Lol lol.0
