PIP wrong back payment?

Hi,
I have recently been awarded PIP and have not received the back payment yet, however I have received the award letter and the back payment amounts and dates seem way off.
I initially phoned and applied for PIP at the beginning of March, however the date of back payment on the award letter is from the date I did my assessment (end of June) to end of July.

This is only roughly 5 weeks payment but I believe I should be due 21 weeks as this is from when I phoned to when I was awarded.
is there something I’m missing or have they made a mistake? Again I haven’t actually received the back payment yet, it is due on Tuesday, so could it be a typo on the letter?
Thanks

The only thing that comes to mind is the 2 month rule. Did you have the difficulties for at least 3 months when you first applied? If you did then you'll need to ring PIP on Monday when they open at 9. The number will be on the decision letter.

Hi, yes I have had the difficulties for well over 3 months before I applied, I don’t think I was asked this but I did mention on the form I have had difficulties since childhood and had support from CAHMS when in school.poppy123456 said:The only thing that comes to mind is the 2 month rule. Also, If the 3 month waiting period applied, would it not be backdated from the beginning of June? Which is 3 months after I applied, the date they have awarded me from is exactly 1 day after I did the telephone assessment (end of June) which is closer to 4 months after I applied.poppy123456 said:The only thing that comes to pmind is the 2 month rule. You will need to ring them on Monday because they are the only ones that can tell you what's happened.
