Hi, my name is Crocky!

Hello everyone. My name is Paul, I am a 50 year old father of 4 and live in North Devon. In 2022 I was diagnosed with a C5-T1 spinal cord tumour. This has greatly impeded my mobility. I use a walking stick and mobility scooter. My wife is my career. I also have convulsive cough syncope which is thought to be caused by the tumour.  Because of this I cannot drive. I have had to give up my career as a social worker. I also live with daily chronic pain. Anyway despite of all this, you have to keep your chin up don’t you. I tend to look on the bright side 😋 I look forward to being part of this community and maybe making some new friends who have similar experiences and challenges.
