    I always wanted to go to sea so a couple of years after leaving school i tried to get on the cruise ships, but because there was so much unemployment on land, everyone was going to sea, I finally ended up working in construction as a site labourer, i must have liked it cause i done it for about 30 years.

    @Wilshyboy Ooo what kind of work would you have wanted to do on a cruise ship? Get the karaoke out?

    I would have done anything, iv'e  always loved being on the sea, me parents took us on cruises round the Mediterranean when we were younger and i got the bug then.

    Gibraltar was my favourite, so much going on, on such a small place and when you watch planes land its a fingers crossed experience, if they don't it right they could very well end up in the sea, they also had the old red phone boxes and the police wore pointy helmets, Malaga is also a nice place the best part is in the town away from the beach, the day we went it was about a 105 degrees, i like the sun but that was ridiculously hot.

    I saw some lovely shots of Gibraltar on a tv show a few years ago and thought ooo, one to add to the list. That day in Malaga does sound ridiculously hot!
