Hi,
I have applied for pip due to severe depression, anxiety that was a result of a traumatic event.Do they look at my condition as something short term ,temporary etc and perhaps refuse my claim ?

For PIP you need to have experienced the difficulties for at least 3 months and expect them to last at least a further 9 months. It's not about a diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect you against the 12 PIP descriptors.0

@pillar48 I'm so sorry to hear your mental health isn't at its best at the moment. I wanted to check in and ask if you have support around you?0
