Hi am new here I was awarded LCWRA on 08 September just wondering when would my first payment be

    Please would you say:
     - what date was your first fit note from after declaring your health condition?
     - have you supplied continuous fit notes, with no gaps?
     - do you know the dates of your assessment period?
     - what date do you normally receive your payment?

    9th aguest till 8th September 
    15th

    Thank you for your reply. As there are 3 full assessment periods (the waiting time), with payment being put into place for this extra element in the 4th month, then, based on what you say, the LCWRA element should be payable from 15 Oct 2023.

    Sorry, no backpay, just the LCWRA element will be added in Oct 2023 starting 15 Oct. this presumes your first fit note was 9 July this year, & that you're not living with a partner that already claims LCWRA (as there can only be one LCWRA element in a joint claim).
