Made new claim to uc and got new claim advance would I be able to get budgeting one

Would I be able to apply for a budgeting advance even though I got a new claim advance.. this budgeting one would be for a new cooker thanks I’m 19.

I believe you can apply for one once the other has been paid off. You could also look at Turn2US for grants you may be eligible for

You can have a new claim advance and a budgeting advance at the same time, I know because I have them

Yes if you had a budgeting advance and you wanted another for example but they have the advance that everyone can get while they wait for their first payment. Which doesn't need to be paid off before you can apply for a budgeting advance.They do need to be claiming universal credit for at least 6 months before applying for a budgeting advance however1
