PIP PHONE ASSESSMENT

Over two hours and just going around in circles, I was so tired. 

He started with mobility first then went a different way back, so it was confusing with notes.

Not confident at all....

    Sorry to hear you had a really bad experience on the assessment, I remember my first PIP assessment and it sometimes felt like they were trying to get me to answer specific ways. Some assessors are good, some aren't unfortunately.

    In regard to them starting with mobility, I don't believe there's a specific way for them to cover all the descriptors. In fact if I remember correctly the guidance for assessors mentions they have discretion to direct the assessment as they deem best for the client (which obviously in this case they deemed wrong).

    Remember, once you receive your decision letter you have Mandatory Reconsideration to go for and then appeals (of which ~70% succeed). I will link you the Citizen's Advice section on Mandatory Reconsideration incase you'd like to get some early reading on it done. I hope the decision does award you what you're entitled to, but if it doesn't we are here to support you :)

    Thank you for your help. I am going to ring next week for a copy of the report. He called 15-20 late, another thing that was fishy he didn't know what a common tablet was.
