Hi, my name is DanielleRose25! How long does it take to receive LCWRA payments?

Hi I was awarded LCWRA on 18th September and have had no information about whether I will receive extra money or not. I’ve read that I should receive money but I’m unsure as to when?
my first sick note was 18th May and my assessment period is 19th-18th of each month. If anyone could advise me please I would be very grateful, as when I’ve spoken to universal credit they seemed unsure themselves. I should also mention that my payment date is 25th of each month and there is nothing on this months statement about it. Thanks in advance 🙏

    Welcome to the community :) How are you doing today?

    Have you tried posting a message to your UC journal? It can take them a while to update things, especially as your assessment period looks like it's fallen around the same time as your LCWRA confirmation came through.

    I have popped your post into our Universal Credit section where our members may be able to offer some advice on how long their claims took to adjust.

    Based on that information, you should be entitled to two months back payment. Unfortunately, these are processed based on demand/workload for your Case Manager and can take up to 6 weeks to do and as well as issuing the payment they will also need to manually update the August & September statements.

    Your LCWRA will be added to your next statement automatically.
