Hi! I live in Washington, and I am a mom of 4 and I have chronic pain, and no explanation for it. I have been on a lifestyle change journey, and my pain keeps trying to win. So far down 46lbs since December 2022, taking a while but I am just trying to find healing. Although I have been changing I'm still in pain
and it doesn't seem like it's gonna go away. So I am wanting to find others that experience the same issues and try to connect and be encouraged.

Hi @LIVEFORNOW11, welcome to Scope! I'm sorry this was missed for a few days. I know it's tough with the chronic pain with no explanation. When I first developed symptoms of Crohn's it took me over a year to get diagnosed (I also lost 2 stone in 2 months at one point). It took me even longer to accept and make the changes so I'm amazed you're already on that path. That's really impressed me, can't be easy when looking after 4 kids too!
What I can say is that after I accepted I had to make changes and also got further help from the NHS I am much, much better off now. My Crohn's is in remission and I feel like I'm moving forward again
It wasn't an easy journey, but it's also made me who I am. Just know that you can ask for help. It took me a long time to remove the idea that I was being a burden by asking for help, but it's okay and good to ask for help when you need it.
I hope you're doing okay today and the kids aren't giving you too much bother.0
