Hello I’m just wondering if anyone can help me. So basically I’ve been putting in fitnotes since 2.7 years ago non stop till now, I started on 25th Feb 2021. I then applied for a wca 3 times and got denied, because of the pandemic, and finally this year they’ve accepted it yesterday. My claim they’ve taken went in at July 13th 2023, will I only be paid money from July 2023 - now … or will I be paid from when I first done my fitnotes for my condition in 2021? Thankyou in advance for anyone who helps!

For clarity, was this 3rd time a new claim for a worsening condition or was it awarded via Tribunal from the original February 2021 decision?

It was the 3rd time I claimed for wca that they actually accepted it and told me I was awarded, but I’m wondering as I’ve been sending it fit notes since 2021 will I get it from then or from July when they accepted it ?

More information is needed before anyone can advise. We know it's the 3rd time but what happened with the previous 2 WCAs? Were you found fit for work or LCW in your 2nd WCA? was this a change of circumstances that you reported? If so what date did you report those changes?
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
