Hi,
I recently moved in with my partner. Until now I was claiming on my own, but I believe since I have moved in I have to make a joint claim, right?
Another question is that my partner's tenancy agreement started months ago, and I only moved days ago. Would that cause any Issues?
Any answers to these questions would be helpful.

Hi @MBA01, congrats on moving in with your partner. I hope it all goes smoothly ^^
Regarding Universal Credit I find Citizen's Advice explains what to do best. This page and the section that says "Changes to do with your relationship". If you were both on UC before then you both need to report that you now live together. You'll need to link your UC accounts together.
If they were not claiming UC before then they will need to open a UC account and link it to yours. It then becomes a joint claim. There's a link in the section on the citizen's advice page that explains more about linking UC accounts.
When it comes to your question about tenancy agreement, is this a concern about the Housing portion of your UC?
Hope you're settling in to your new home wellThey/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
Yes, the tenancy started a month ago when my husband moved in. But I only moved in now. Will that create any issue when we apply as a joint (my husband didn't get UC before)?
Thank you once again. -
No that shouldn't create any issue @MBA01.Community Manager

Thank you.
I did the changes.
Where I was registering the UC account for my husband, I was asked the following question: "Did you move in the last 6 months"? I wanted to ask how relevant is the question? Do the people working in the JobCentre ask about previous addresses? What if my husband didn't have a permanent address and kept moving? It is better to answer as a "No"?
