A fit note is not classed as evidence that determines you have limited capability for work. For this you need to go through the work capability assessment and wait for a decision to be made. When claiming UC you're classed as a job seeker until a decision on your WCA says otherwise. It's a work coaches discretion to either turn off or reduce commiments, while you wait. Some do and others don't.If you're health condition makes it difficult to attend appointments in person you can ask for telephone appointments as a reasonable adjustment.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

You said you had a fit note for 3 months, have you reported changes to your health condition? As you were found to have LCW then what is expected of you will depend on your claimant commitments. You will not be expected to look for work.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Would you say you dont go out to the extent you could be considered agoraphobic?
The problem is that certain conditions justify the policies ie inviting a claimant to the job centre is to help them overcome their fear of going out *cough*
