I am on uc I handed in my fit note 
29th of June 2023 
I had a form ucd35 on 12th july
i had phone call assessed with WCA on 31st August 
my doctor done my another fit note on 1st September 2023 to cover from (7th July 2023-29th September 2023) 
On 20th September I had been accepted for LCWRA I’m just wondering when I will receive my first payments?
will it show up in my journal?

    The LCWRA element will be included on your statement and will increase your maximum UC entitlement by £390.06/month.

    There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time. The extra money is the paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note, providing there were no gaps. Gaps can affect when the extra money is paid from (even if you backdate a fit note)

    You mentioned your fit note on 1st September was backdated to 7th July, are you saying there was a gap in the fit notes from 7th July to 1st September?

    What date do you usually receive your money each month?

    Yes as I wasn’t able to get doctors appointment from July when I did get doctors appointment she back dates it from the dates I couldn’t get an appointment 

    I receive payement on 2nd of every month

    The gap can affect when it's paid from because usually they don't accept backdated fit notes, although it was accepted when you put the details onto your journal. It will be down to a decision maker to decide when it's paid from.

    If they go from when you sent your first fit note the waiting period will be July to Oct..LCWRA starts from 27th Oct to 26th Nov and first payment will be 2nd Dec.

    If they go from when you sent your fit note in September then your waiting period will be Sept to Dec.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 27th Dec to 26th Jan and first payment will be 2nd Feb 2024.

    The decision on your WCA was made extremely fast.

    The LCWRA element will be included on your statements each month. Then the extra will be paid in with your usual UC payment each month into your bank.
