Hi, my name is Emily! Where can I find disability friendly clothing for teenagers?

I have hip dysplasia which limits my movement. I'm quite new to the disability world but I am coming to terms with my new limits. I wondered if anyone had any tips or advice on where to find disability clothing for teenagers? What do you guys struggle with when it comes to clothing?

Welcome to the community @EmSmith2004
How are you doing today? I hope you'll find us a friendly bunch.
I've popped your post over to our physical disability board in the hope that one of our members can give some more specific advice, but I just wanted to say hello and welcome you.
Do you use social media at all? I follow a few people on Instagram with different disabilities, and sometimes they'll tag brands or clothes that they find accessible. Most of them seem happy to share where they bought certain items if you ask in the comments too. Might be a good place to start

Hi @Rosie_Scope, thank you! I am on Instagram so that would be a great place to start

That's great @EmSmith2004! It'll definitely be dependent on what kind of styles you like to wear, but you could start by searching for tags like "accessible fashion" or even just looking for any disabled influencers who either share your condition or have different accessibility needs and see who you can find

Let us know how you get on!0
